Research on Title Sequences

Research on Title Sequences

A title sequence is the method in which films and television programmes present their title, key production and cast members, using conceptual visuals or sound. It typically includes the text of the opening credits and helps establish the setting and tone of the programme or film.

A title sequence usually sets the theme so that the audience can figure out the genre of the programme or film. This can be done through the use of fonts, colours, or background visuals. A title sequence may include background visuals or small sequences hat show what the film or programme is about in order to capture the viewer's interest.
